By using this website or placing an order, you agree to the terms below. Please read them before ordering.

Who We Are

PRP Hair Clinic provides online consultations for prescription hair loss treatments. All clinical assessment, prescribing, and dispensing decisions are made by our registered independent prescriber/GPhC-registered pharmacist — we are not a pharmacy ourselves.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or over, a UK resident, and provide complete, accurate medical information during consultation. Providing false or incomplete information may put your safety at risk and may result in your order being refused or cancelled.

How Prescribing Works

Submitting an intake form does not guarantee a prescription. All formulations are reviewed on a named-patient basis and issued entirely at the prescriber's clinical discretion. If your consultation indicates the treatment isn't suitable for you, no product will be dispensed, and you'll receive a full refund.

Medical Disclaimer

This website provides general information only and is not a substitute for advice from your GP or another qualified healthcare professional. Our online consultation does not replace a face-to-face assessment. Let your GP know you're using this treatment, particularly if you're already under their care for a related condition.

Results are not guaranteed

Response to our formulations varies significantly between individuals. Visible improvement, where it occurs, typically takes 3–6 months of consistent use, and continued use is usually required to maintain results — hair loss is likely to resume within months of stopping. Some individuals will not respond at all.

Side effects

All the active ingredients in our formulations can cause side effects, including but not limited to scalp irritation, unwanted hair growth outside the treated area, sexual or mood-related side effects, and skin sensitivity to sunlight. Full details are provided in your consultation and patient information leaflet before you order — read these and raise any questions with us before starting treatment. Stop use and seek medical advice if you experience anything concerning.

Contraindications and interactions. These products must not be used in pregnancy or breastfeeding, and may be unsuitable if you have certain medical conditions or are taking other medications. Full, honest disclosure during your consultation is essential to your safety.

Emergencies. If you experience a severe allergic reaction or any medical emergency, call 999 or attend A&E immediately. Do not rely on this website or our team for urgent medical care.

Compounded Medicines & Returns

Our formulations are compounded specifically for you, on prescription, and cannot be resold or reused. In line with pharmaceutical regulations, once dispensed, medication cannot be returned or refunded on the basis of change of mind, or on the basis that results were not as hoped, since results are not guaranteed and depend on individual response and consistent use.

Refunds are available if:

  • your prescription application is declined by the prescriber
  • we're unable to fulfil your order
  • your item arrives damaged, faulty, or significantly different from what you ordered

To request a refund under these circumstances, contact us at [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery with your order details and, where relevant, photos of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 working days and process approved refunds within 5–7 working days.

This doesn't affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — if a product is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, you may still be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement.

Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of our products or website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted here. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
